PAINTING OUT OF DOORS. Pam and Sue, braving the drizzle in Southport's Botanic Gardens.
With summer having arrived, on a Monday, we meet up at various locations to give members the opportunity to work direct from the subject. Most artists can find it a bit intimidating working alone in public. This regular event will give members the encouragement and confidence to work by themselves. Once you get a flavour of working out-of-doors it's something you get to enjoy.

Once again the weather was against us at the Botanic gardens. I managed these three watercolours. To escape the rain we worked from inside the Fernery. The local parkeeper kindly opened it for us.
