This isn't my example for the piece I did, though it's a good example of how important when doing collage work that you carefully plan the finished image, or have some idea of the final composition. In this example, each small sketch refers to a different painting. Yes, you can adjust and make changes as you go along, but ideally you need to have sorted out the idea you're trying to convey.
