This video will give you an insight into one of our frequent members' exhibition held at Maghull Town Hall (23 minutes long).

In November 2014 the Sefton Art Group held a special commemorative event to remember those who served in the First World War and to raise funds to support the memorial to the Liverpool Pals Regiment at Liverpool's Lime Street station. A film, "The Art of Remembrance". Members spent almost a year preparing drawings and paintings, which cumulated in a 10 day exhibition. Our member, Gordon Fraser, filmed the event.

The film is in three parts:
Part One gives an overview of the First World War and tells the story of the Liverpool Pals Regiment.
Part Two covers the Commemorative Evening with the choir singing World War One songs.
Part Three presents the World War One Art Exhibition.
